Requirements
Holo Dice runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 15.0 or later and ARKit-capable hardware (most devices from recent years). Camera access is required for augmented reality.
How to play
- Slowly move your device so the camera can scan a flat surface — a table, floor, or tray. A targeting ring appears once a surface is found.
- Choose how many dice to roll with the − and + buttons.
- Tap Throw to drop the dice. They tumble with real physics, and the total appears once they settle.
- Switch dice type (D4, D6, D20, and more) using the selector in the top-left corner.
Troubleshooting
- No dice or no targeting ring? Make sure camera access is granted in Settings ▸ Holo Dice ▸ Camera, and aim at a well-lit, textured surface — blank or shiny surfaces are harder to track.
- A die landed against an object and looks stuck? Just tap Throw again to clear and re-roll.
- Dice drifting, or AR tracking lost? Hold the device steady for a moment, or close and reopen the app to reset tracking.
